Hawaii better play defense. I think USC will cover. USC beat BYU 35-18 (much closer game than the score indicates) but USC did not play very well. Hawaii does not have the defensive schemes to confuse the USC offense like BYU. I think USC scores 30-50pts. How many pts will Hawaii score who has never seen a defense like USC? And believe me, USC is not overlooking Hawaii because of the scare BYU gave SC and USC has a bye the following week.

I look for certain teams to go against early in the season. USC is one of those teams not because they aren't a good team (as I think they are a serious BCS Title contender) but because they tend to get overbet because of hype. USC fits this to a mold starting with how they finished last year & started this year.

Good point and i agree with you. That is why i did not bet BYU. Hawaii on the other hand will not confuse the USC offense, and believe me, the USC offense needs to have a break out game. I think USC will pour it on if they can just to get the offense into a groove.

I like USC, although I agree that they could be over-hyped and that makes me a little nervous. I don't see how Hawaii's micky mouse offense will work against USC. The Trojans should get some tunronvers. Hawaii QB Chang has been known to throw his share of Ints. BYU covered because their defense performed really well. I don't see Hawaii's defense having the same success. I expect Hawaii's defense to be on the field a long time since that is usually the case with teams that have offense's similar to Hawaii's.
